It worked for me. I have windows 7 and version 9. You have to add -ns

this is the key, remember the space after the “min.”

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\avgnt.exe” /min -ns

Avira changed the /nosplash to /ns for version 9.

For anyone running Windows 7 x64, the location of the string that starts Antivir is HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
