Hi Brian,
I am having the same problema as HKLock, I have a 64 bit machine and I am trying to run portable ubuntu and get the same error message. I have windows server 2008.
The last post is 7 month old, are there some new things about a possible new colinux version which could run on a 64 bit computer?
If not, there is no way to run portable ubuntu on my computer? …

HKLock – I searched a little and found a number of other people with the same error. After some more searching, I found that coLinux is not 64-bit compatible.

In other words, you’re not doing anything wrong. It just won’t work with Vista 64-bit. Rats.

I am running Vista Home Premium 64-bit operating system. I downloaded Portable Ubuntu and unpacked it. When I try to run “run_portable_ ubuntu.exe” the screen shows “c:\windows\system32>start treyrun.exe cmd /c portable_ubuntu.bat”.

I get the following message “Windows cannot find “treyrun.exe”. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.”

What am I doing wrong?
