Yeah, and he only had to "replace all of the internal wires." Well, I guess we can't all be as clever as those PhD students. But one of the comments on that page made a good point... all of my tips aren't really about extending the life of the battery... they're really about reducing the power consumption of the phone. I really was thinking about this post this weekend when I went out hiking away from civilization... my phone was about dead by 6pm because it had been trying to locate a 3G signal all day. Lol.
