I mostly use GNU/Linux for my desktop. But I service MS Windows installations. That is the reason I went thru' your reviews of free Anti-Virus offerings. One problem I find with most free Anti-Virus offerings is their inability to scan plug-in drives such as flash (pen) drives. These devices have revisited upon MS Windows users the dreaded infection via external media. The bloated and paid for AV software such as McAfee and Norton are designed to scan these devices on plugin and block/inform you of any malicious programs on these devices. Free AV software as far as I know lack this feature.
